Year 2 Manchester Airport School Trip

Year 2 visited Manchester Airport as part of our topic ‘Travel and Transport’. We had a fantastic time exploring the cabin of a DC10 aircraft and learning all about Concorde. We had the opportunity to visit the flight deck, where we experienced being a Pilot or Flight Engineer. We observed planes landing and taking off on the two runways and we learnt all about the different services that help keep the airport running smoothly.
