Stop Loan Sharks Workshop

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Today - Year 6 welcomed Pete from 'Stop Loan Sharks' in to Adswood Primary.

He delivered a workshop that highlighted the struggles we all can go through when managing our money each month. Discussing the essential bills that parents have to pay for and some of the non-essentials which we can struggle to live without.

Children learnt the appropriate places where families can borrow money to avoid the use of loan sharks.

Children were told about the dangers of loan sharks and some scenarios that some families across the country have had to experience during times when money has been borrowed from loan sharks.
