KS2 Sports Day

Lesson: Physical Development

On Monday 1st July, Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2 took part in their Sports Day for 2024.

The rain did not stop ALL day but this didn't dampen out childrens spirits.

The determination, teamwork and sportsmanship shown throughout the day made me proud to be the PE lead at Adswood Primary School.

The children took part in a carousel of different athletic events including: 

Nurf Throw;

Heavy Ball;

Speed Bounce;

Standing Long Jump;

Sprints;

Hurdles.

What a day it was and we are really excited for Sports Day 2025!
